Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you will not be interrupted. Please avoid cooking, cleaning, exercising or walking around during the session, and never join a reading while driving. Turn off background television and music before we begin.
If you would like another person to attend, please mention this when booking. Anyone nearby may affect the focus of the reading, so it helps to agree on who will be present in advance.
Confirm your preferred video call app with Andrea before the appointment. If you are using Zoom, you can download the free app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Agree on a safe word before the reading. Choose something unlikely to arise naturally as evidence, rather than a loved one’s favourite place or familiar phrase. You can use it at any point if you want Andrea to redirect the reading.
Before your appointment, you may find it comforting to think about your loved ones, speak to them privately or listen to music you enjoy. Come with an open mind and allow the connection to unfold without expecting a particular name, phrase or piece of evidence.
Please attend sober and alert. Brief, honest feedback helps the reading: “yes”, “no”, “maybe” or “I need more information” is enough. If something does not make sense, say so.
Avoid sharing detailed stories or background information during the reading. For example, if Andrea asks whether a blue car is significant, confirm whether it makes sense without describing every memory associated with it. This leaves space for evidence to emerge independently.
